Georgia Bountali

Georgia is a flamenco dancer and teacher based in Kalamata, Greece, where she runs her own flamenco school and spends a good part of her day explaining how compás can actually be found… everywhere. She is a dance therapist and relational psychodynamic psychotherapist, who explores the deep connection between body, emotion, and human stories—often discovering that a single movement can sometimes express what words cannot. She proudly identifies as a chronic multitasker and still wonders where she finds the time to do so many things, though her endless energy probably has something to do with it. She shares her daily life with two dogs and two cats— a small, but very expressive, audience that seems to observe her every move. In her free time she enjoys drawing and playing the bouzouki, as her creative spirit seems determined to lose itself in every form of art it encounters.  If you don’t find her at the studio, she is probably counting rhythms in her head, sketching a new project, or simply trying out yet another creative idea just to see what happens.
